AEPC to evolve common compliance code

Garment exporters are facing several problems related to the increasing requirement for multiple compliance accreditations. To make a common compliance code for exporters, buyers as well as accreditation bodies, the Apparel Export Promotion Council (AEPC) conducted several meetings on May 28 and 29.
The initiative was aimed at listing compliances laid down by apparel buyers and problems faced by exporters in meeting with these compliances.
