No significant changes were noticed in textile commodities during this week.
Cotton textiles and other miscellaneous textiles prices saw an increase of 15.07% and 3.16% respectively from the corresponding day of previous year. Manmade Textiles witnessed a decline of 1.61 per cent over the corresponding day of previous year.
Cotton knitted garments witnessed a hike as of previous week, 4 per cent over the corresponding period of previous year.
Jute and Other Textile price rose by 26.83 per cent to 269 points on the week ending May 09, 2009.
