 Textile shares lose pace
This section tracks the stock prices of 20 garments scrip’s which are listed on the BSE and NSE. The weekly average share price of the textiles scrip’s in BSE is tracked to check their relative movement against the BSE.
BSE recorded a decline of 5.82% during the week under review where as the average decline in the textile scrip was 4.63%. The major losers of the week were Bombay Rayon, GHCL, Arvind Mills, Provogue(India), Kewal Kiran Clothing, Gangotri Textiles and Pearl Global at 15.23, 15.09, 13.79, 13.46, 11.73, 10.05 and 8.75% respectively.
