 Sensex declines by 4.56%
On July 13, 2009, Sensex dropped 643.08 points from the same day of previous week and closed at 13400.32 points. In last one and half month it was the maximum decline in BSE SENSEX. While comparing from previous day a decline of 0.77% or 103.90 points has been drawn.
During the day almost all the textile scrips, which are under review, saw a decline in their scrips except Kewal Kiran Clothing and Pearl Global witnessed an increase of 5.07% to Rs. 182.45 and 0.21%to Rs. 46.85 respectively from the same day of previous week.
Aditya Birla Nuvo, Bombay Dyeing, Provogue India Ltd., Bombay Rayon, GHCL, Vardhaman Textiles and Pantaloon saw a decrease of 11.18%, 12.19%, 11.32%, 10.51%, 7.52%, 4.24% and 10.97% respectively from the same day of previous week.
During the day Zodiac Clothing scrips were not traded
